MARK W. LAWRENCE

mlawrence@infopart.comMark Lawrence, is a co-founder of InfoPartners. Mr. Lawrence works with healthcare providers to improve healthcare operations through the use of information systems. He has focused solely on healthcare information systems management, analysis, development, selection, and implementation for the past 23 years. He has served as an active project director and consultant to projects the firm has undertaken since January l986.
Prior to forming InfoPartners, Mr. Lawrence was a consultant with a major healthcare software vendor and consulting firm. Here, he held a Director of Systems position providing contracted services assistance. Additionally, he was a consultant with the company's software products division, where he assisted in software development efforts to respond to federal prospective payment regulations and provided consulting to client hospitals.
Mr. Lawrence received his B.A. from The University of the South (Sewanee) and his Master of Health Administration degree from Duke University. He is a member of the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), American Hospital Association (AHA) and an Advanced Member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). He has been a Guest Lecturer for the Department of Health Policy and Administration, University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill and the Fuqua School of Business – Health Sector Management program.
